Tucked away in the heart of Auer, Markushof proved to be a pleasant surprise during my recent stay. The location, just a stone's throw away from local amenities, is convenient for those looking to explore the charming town and its surroundings. I opted for the garden view deluxe room, which boasted a spacious balcony offering mesmerizing vistas of the pool, garden, and majestic mountains - a true treat for the senses.The hotel's facilities, including a sauna, jacuzzi, and gym, added a touch of luxury to the stay. The outdoor pool area was a serene oasis, perfect for unwinding after a day of exploration. The staff, friendly and accommodating, enhanced the overall experience, ensuring a seamless and comfortable stay.While the hotel's proximity to a campsite raised initial concerns, rest assured, noise was not an issue. The bedding was comfortable, the shower invigorating, and the breakfast spread delicious. Markushof strikes a balance between value and luxury, offering an affordable yet upscale experience for travelers seeking a tranquil retreat in Auer.
